 | Thank you for your concern and for the devotional. I am redirected this morning once again to try to focus on not my loss, but rather my blessings. Prayer has indeed gotten me through many a trial before, and this is just another hurdle I will have to overcome and try to not dwell on unless it is to benefit from the experience.

| Hey there...I just read your comment to me, and I was laughing a lot. Isn't that how the weather always seems to go? How exciting...decorating...I love it! I bet your wife does too. You should have taken before and after photos of some of the rooms, so we can see how good a decorator you are...hehe.

Spent the day with my wife and took an hour out to collect my new canadian canoe - I love it and cannot wait to get it wet. If you are interested, it's a We No Nah Prospector from USA. At least I am doing my bit for the economy of the USA :) Mmmm.. my paddles are from the USA too. I Had a new ukelele, golfing brolly, Tale of Desperaux DVD some other stuff and some cash. Still awaiting two more in the post. Blessed indeed. And now it's Saturday and my birthday is over for another year. Hey, in the USA it's still my birthday for another 6 hours or so. Great!

Hi Steve...how are you? It's been awhile since I've been by here. I've always thought the above verses are so nice...I think there's an old Irish proverb or saying that is very similar to them also. You haven't posted in quite awhile either...nothing to say lately? It's been really hot and humid where I live...whew...I can't stand heat like this! Every day it's been in the upper 80's and 90's F, and I don't have air conditioning, so I've been sticky, sweaty, and miserable. Hehe...yes, I'm complaining a bit. Last night a thunderstorm rolled through, and I welcomed it. I sat looking out the window and praying for God to bring more rain. Praise Him, it is a bit cooler this morning...hope it stays this way, but I doubt it. How are your wife and boys doing? I trust all is well.
